Jeanine is an independent producer with over 20 years in the film industry. She was nominated in 2004 for the IFP/Spirit Awards, having produced the feature film "Anne B Real." Most recently, she has produced "Man Maid," a comedy starring Sara Rue and Jane Lynch, as well as co-produced Margaret Cho's comedy feature "Bam Bam and Celeste," which debuted at the 2005 Toronto International Film Festival. Before forming Jigsaw Pictures, Jeanine's line-producing and assistant director credits included over forty feature films in Los Angeles, New York and overseas. Her feature film work includes Fox Searchlight's Academy Award Winner "Boys Don't Cry," the 2000 OutFest Award Winner "Big Eden," Lions Gates' "Women in Film" - which premiered at Sundance in 2001 - and the 2003 Sundance premiere "Rhythym of the Saints." Jeanine has also produced for television. She recently completed the "Sarah Silverman Pilot" for Comedy Central and Seth Green's "Robot Chicken," a stop-motion animation series for Cartoon Network/Turner Broadcasting. She has also coordinated for the award-winning PBS/BBC documentary series "Travels." Jeanine has served on the review commitee for the International Documentary Association's IDA Awards, has been a guest speaker at UCLA's Graduate Director's class and was invited to participate in the Sundance Filmmakers' Lab. She is a member of the Director's Guild of America, the International Documentary Association and Film INDependent. |
